This lesson will explore the Santa Claus traditions from around the world. Countries Canada, Germany, Holland and Japan. The students will research a country's tradition of their Santa Claus and write a short story about it. The story will go on a large country map matching each Santa story with the country for the whole class to see and read.

Teacher Introduction

This webquest is designed to address the traditions of Santa Claus from different countries.  It explores writing skills, technology of the internet and learning geography for students in grades 3 through 5.
