Learners
Our learners are 8th graders from the suburbs of St. Paul, MN. The students are coming from varying financial backgrounds as well as language backgrounds. There are a few Burmese students and one Hispanic student so integrating English will also be important. Most students seem to have had positive role models and only a few consistently act out.
SWBAT:
Decide whether or not they would invest money of their own.
Give basic advice to others about investing.
Understand the risk and reward of investing.
Know the basics of investing, including different kinds of investments.
Create a vocabulary booklet.
