The purpose of this Web Quest is to prepare students for life outside the classroom. Managing and investing money will be crucial to each learner, no matter which path they choose in life. We want to equip them by giving them a chance to see potential loss or profit without the risk. Students newer to the English language will be able to work in pairs so that hopefully any language gaps will be filled in by their partner.

Teacher Introduction

 This webquest might be completed in a freshmen high school math class, a consumer sciences class or perhaps (if available) an introductory finance class. This class could also be very difficult, but helpful for ELLs.  It gives them the opportunity to learn how to invest their money and potential educate their parents if they are new to the stock market.
