In class we have been learning about measurement, area, and volume. Using this knowledge students will complete a group project through a variation of tasks (steps).
Introduction
Jerry Russo needs your help! He is trying to create plans for a playhouse that he wants to build in his backyard for his son Max to hang out with friends in that is about the same size as a bedroom. But Max's room is so messy he cannot get into it to measure!
Jerry needs you to measure the size of your rooms in every direction! Then with a partner you will compare room sizes to create a plan for Max's playhouse!
Jerry wants to know the size of the playhouse as well as how much flooring and paint he will need to finish it with!
Work together and separately with your partner inside and outside of class to creatively complete this project.
