This web quest was designed to help students learn about the multiple ocean layers and what sea creatures reside in these sections. The student is to work independently and then complete group work. After the group work is completed the groups are to make a poster about their favorite deep sea creature. This poster will include key facts about the animals.
Introduction
The city has decided to add a new exhibit to the local musuem. This exhibit is about the ocean (the different layers and the mysterious creatures that dwell within). However, the musuem's reaserchers are busy on another exhibit and don't have enough time to finish the new showcase by the deadline. It is up to you to compile the research and present it in the showcase by the Saturday morning opening.
