In this WebQuest student will have the opportunity to find out what thinkers influenced our country's government. Their analysis of the philosophers will provide them with a deeper understanding of why our constitution protects certain rights we find invaluable.

Teacher Introduction

This lesson is focused on the Enlightenment.  Many of our students do not realize where the ideas for the Declaration of Independence or our Constitution came from.  This WebQuest is designed to take the students on an exploration of the philosophers who influenced these two important documents and therefore the way in which we live.
