Teacher Process
The process involved in teaching this WebQuest includes students basic knowledge of using the Internet to find information. The reading material located on the webpages is at the student's reading level, and all students will be able to navigate through the pages. Ideally, this lesson should be implemented after students have been exposed to the Health courses provided by their school district. Students also have Technology classes weekly, and this lesson will be supported by the Technology class and the basic computer knowledge that students gain through those lessons. Students are familiar with non-fiction text (the website articles) and also have had exposure to Microsoft programs, such as Publisher, in which the brochure is created. Overall, with support, this lesson would run smoothly for upper elementary school students!
