Step 1: Everyone needs a copy of the ditto with the four-square graphic organizer on the front and back.

Step 2: Listen to the song: The Seasons are Changing

Step 3: As you listen to the words of the song fill in the name of each season into your graphic organizer onto the blank lines on the front and the back.

Step 4: Watch the video about Seasons on Brainpop Jr.

Step 5: As a class, play the game that goes along with the video on Brainpop Jr.

 

Take turns spinning the spinner and acting out your favorite things to do in each season.

Step 6: Use these pictures to find out more about the four seasons.

Step 7: Write down 3 things for each season onto your graphic organizer that you have learned about the seasons.

Step 9: Read the book: Caps, Hats, Socks, and Mittens: A Book about the Four Seasons by Louise Borden

 

 

Step 10: On the other side of your paper draw a picture of what you might wear during each season. 

 

Step 11: Take a look at how a tree changes during the seasons:

Step 12: Play the season match game: Identify all four seasons. Drag and drop the word on the picture with the correct season for that word.

Step 13: Using the program Kidpix-

 

Draw what a tree would look like during each season using the wacky paint brush tool.  Then you can use the stamps to show what the weather may look like.
