Teacher Process

This WebQuest is designed to take individual students step by step through college preparation.  It does not include choosing a college or applying for college.  That would make a great companion WebQuest.

To complete this project students will need internet computers with printers, CD burners or disc drives, a three-ring binder with 3-ring hole punch or with page protectors that fit 3-ring binders and an expandable file folder.  During this WebQuest students will make an action plan complete with a timeline,  prepare for the PSAT, SAT or ACT, investigate college costs and create a budget, explore careers and the job market, search for scholarships and apply for as many scholarships as possible.

The time required to complete this WebQuest will depend on the grade level of the student participating.  Freshman will probably not finish until their senior year of high school.  It is hoped that seniors will still benefit from the process.
