This webquest is for a social studies classroom studying the many different cultures and countries that make up the world. Students will be assigned various countries and they will research different aspects of it's culture.

Teacher Introduction

This is a great WebQuest for any middle school classroom studying new cultures or focusing on the multiple perspectives of current and historic events. A great follow-up assignment for this WebQuest is to have the students write about a current or historical event from the viewpoint of a student in the country they studied.  This will require them to really look at events from a different point of view and demonstrate to the teacher if the students really understood the purpose of this WebQuest.
