Task

You will work in pairs and assume the identities of two brothers living on the border beween the northern slave-free states, and the southern slave states.  One of you will decide to join The Union States whilst the other will decide to join The Confederate States.  

 After researching three civil war battles, you will write three letters home to your mother detailing your experiences during the battles.
