A short webquest where students work in pairs to recount 4 Civil War battles in the form of letters written home to their loved ones.

Teacher Introduction

This webquest is a short exercise intended to draw students into the battles of the civil war by having them write their own letters about the battlefield experience.  Students will use historical accounts of the battles, photographs of the locations and read letters sent home by soldiers.
