In this webquest, students will explore the ideas of perspective and elements of a story in writing through a closer look at a fractured fairy tale. Students will explore these concepts and be asked to collaboratively write their own fractured fairy tales.
Teacher Introduction
The focus of this lesson is to explore the ideas of perspective and elements within a story. The students are asked to write their very own fractured fairy tale. After completion of their story they will then share it with the class through their medium of choice, either; skit or storyboard. This lesson will enable them to accurately describe; point of view, setting, characters, conflict, and resolution within a story. The students should have a lot of fun listening to the creative fractured fairy tales written by their fellow classmates.
