This Webquest was designed as an extending project on inventors for fourth grade. The students will be using online encyclopedia to research an assigned inventor, what that inventor invented, and how that invention changed our world. The students would then create an oral poster presentation to present to their classmates in small groups.

Introduction

Inventors in the 1800's

 

In this webquest you will learn about the different types of inventions that were established in the 1800's. You work individually to research an inventor so that you can learn more about your inventor and what your inventor invented. Next, you will use an internet encyclopedia to research information about your inventor. Finally, you will create a poster based on your research so that you can present it in small groups to your classmates.
