Students will work with a partner to make a 5 day food plan.
Teacher Introduction

Have you ever noticed that making the right choices when it comes to food can be a difficult? Should you eat a blueberry muffin or a fruit salad? What is healthy and what is not? What does a balanced meal consist of? If you have a hard time making healthy food choices, just think how confusing it must be for children. As teachers, it is not only our jobs to educate students on math and history, it is also our job to educate them on how to live a healthy life, and that includes knowing how to make healthy food choices. If your students are not eating right, more than likely they will not be able to function in class.
The goal of this webquest is to educate children on how to make healthy food choices. The webquest will provide students with resources that will allow them to learn about healthy meal planning. After exploring the resources, students will take the knowledge they gained to create a 5 day meal plan book that they can use in their everyday lives.
