Task
Your team has been chosen to research one of the major Civil War generals. In groups of three, you will inquire knowledge on the general's life before and after the war. The main focus however will be on the general's contributions to the Civil War. This includes what battles they fought in and what tactics and strategies they used in those battles. After conducting this extensive research on your general, you will create a Facebook page presenting your general's life and war-time experiences.
Each group will contain three members. Your group will be given one of 6 major generals including: Ulysses S. Grant, Robert E. Lee, William T. Sherman, Stonewall Jackson, George Meade, and James Longstreet. In your group, you will each take on a role. The roles are as follows:
1. You are the leader of the group. You will be in charge of the layout of the page as well as making sure all information is correct and nothing contradicts itself. You will also be in charge of finding the pictures and quotes for the page. If there is any dissent among the group, it is your responsibility to mediate and make final decisions within the group.
2. You will be in charge of gathering and constructing all personal information for the facebook page. This includes date/place of birth, education, previous jobs, political views, religion, and a mini-biography.
3. You will be in charge of gathering and constructing all activities (battles fought in), interests(battle tactics/strategies), groups, and wall posts.
