Students will learn about the life cycle of a frog. The students will demonstrate what they have learned by completing activities with WebQuest.
Teacher Introduction
This WebQuest was created by Amanda Boseman. It is intended to be used in a second grade science classroom when teaching students about life cycles of different animals. The study of a frog's life cycle will be learned during this WebQuest. This WebQuest should be completed in 2 days to allow for the students to complete each process. The learner will conduct investigations and build an understanding of animal life cycles. (NCSCOS Science Goal 1, NCSCOS Science Goal Objective 1.01) Students will describe the life cycle of animals including: birth, developing in to an adult, reproducing, aging and death. The learner will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of computer technology. (NCSCOS Technology Goal 2, NCSCOS Technology Goal Objective 2.01) The students will recognize, discuss and use the features/functions of computing devices (e.g., creating, retrieving, saving, printing data).
