In today's assignment, you explored the ways in which physics explains energy. Specifically, the conservation of energy. You can recall that, the total energy can niehter be increased nor decreased in any process. It can be transformed from one form to another but the total amount always remains the same.
This law only help to prove that the energy we use is an important choice as it will have impacts on the environment for decades.
For this very reason, the two roles you played today, although fictional in our classroom, is very real in universities and corporations throughout the world.
The need for an alternative fuel source in order to provide energy for our transportation systems is high making sustainability a real and profound issue in today's society. An issue that will only continue to increase in relevance in the years to come.
