Teacher Process
The process listed for the students is pretty self explanatory. You can modify by having students work in pairs or small groups. I will probably differentiate in that area and let my really “high fliers” work independently while my “non readers” pair up with grade level readers. I doubt that all of the activities can be completed in one sitting or class period so I have developed a learning contract where the students can check off tasks as they are completed and then pick up where they left off in the next session. The teacher can also initial on the contract to help verify and keep track of each step the student completes.
