Process

You will be put into groups of 4-5 to complete this research project. Names for group members will be chosen by at random by drawing from a hat.

Because you only have a week to complete this project for homework you will need to divide the tasks up between the members of the group.

Decide in your group which members will complete worksheet one, worksheet two, task three, task 4 and be in charge of the over all presentation of the project. I suggest you work in two pairs and come together for the final putting together of the presentation. You may need to spend some time on line together to complete the work.

Presentation of your research:

You are to present the results of your research on  2 x A3 sheets of paper, suitable for displaying on the class wall. You will have part of a period in class to glue it all together.

Finally

Self evaluate:  Write a small summary of who did what? Did you learn anything about doing research like this? What did you find difficult? What could you have done better? What are you proud of ? What could I have done better in setting up the activity? Is there anyone in the group that did not contribute? Did others in the group have to make up for the lack of effort by one or more members? How should the marks be divided up for my records.?
