Fourth grade students will have the opportunity to track weather for a week and then show their knowledge of weather patterns by producing a weather forecast through an iMovie.
Teacher Introduction
Weather is an interesting and intriguing subject for students because they are able to see the weather everyday and see the results of any predictions that they make. This webquest introduces students to tracking different aspects of weather and making predictions. It also has them look at regular temperatures for their area. The teacher can see what they have learned as they produce their own weather forecast.
Note: This webquest specifically targets Salt Lake City, Utah, but could be adapted to other locations.
