Process
These steps will help guide you as you complete your webquest.
For this task, you will be divided into teams of four. Each team will have a Chef, aPoet, a Sports Reporter, and a Travel Guide!
1. You need to decide who, on your team, is best suited for which role.
2. As a team, you need to decide which three countries you might want to learn about.
3. On a 3x5 notecard please write the three countries and label them, choice #1, choice #2, and choice #3. On the other side of that notecard, please write all four names and specify who is doing which job.
4. Submit your 3x5 notecard to your teacher for approval. I will let you know if you got your first, second or third choice of countries.
5. Let the research begin. As you research about the country that your team chose, it is important to read all the information as a group. However, you may find that some information is more important to one job then another. For example; if I am a sports reporter, I'm going to write down all the information about the popular sports played in that country. If I am a Chef, I better have my apron on because my focus would be on that country's cuisine. If I am a Poet, I would focus on culture and language. Last, if I am a Travel Guide, I would get my camera ready as I explored all the tourist attractions, scenery and historical monuments found in that country.
6. Use the websites listed below to get you started. Don't forget, great information can also be found in books and encyclopedias. On your visit to the library this week, I would recommend picking up a book or two about your country.

#11. Last Step: You and your group need to present the information you have gathered and the cool stuff you created to the whole class.
