This Webquest is about exporing other countries. Students are asked to write a poem, plan a menu, design a postcard, and create a commercial about the country of their choice.
Introduction
The world is a huge place full of diversity and culture. The more you travel, the more you realize that those differences are what makes this world so unique and beautiful.
When you look at a globe of the world, you can clearly see the seven continents and the different colors seperating the different countries. What you can't see from just looking at a globe are the varieties of people, cultures, landscapes and scenery. You can't hear all the different languages spoken here on Earth just by looking at a globe . You can't taste the home cooking from every country just by eating the globe and please don't lick mine just to try. Stop drooling on your desk, we have places to go. Rub the sleepy out of your eyes, you're definately going to want to see this. Clean the ear wax out of your ears, you may just hear a language that speaks to you. The world we live in is an adventurous place. Let's begin our unexpected adventure to the country of our dreams.
