Teacher Process
Prior to starting this webquest, please ensure the following tasks are completed:
- Copy the state report packet for each student or team of students.
- Locate state information books and encyclopedias if desired.
- Review the State Report Packet with students. Explain what types of sites and locations would qualify for each category.
- Review basic technological techniques required in Microsoft Publisher.
- If you choose to allow students to use photos from the State Tourism Websites, review copyright laws and how to appropriately credit photos.
- Discuss with the students the hazards of clicking on pop-ups and advertisements on the websites.
- Discuss plagerism with students to ensure they do not simply copy off the websites.
