Hints and Tips

(Sorry, no shortcuts in school!  ;-)

  1. While the design templates might look cool, don't simply select it because you like it.  Make sure you are selecting a design that helps get your point across. (If you choose a pre-made design, you might have a lot of things to delete before you can start.)
  2. You may choose to create a catalog or a brochure.  No matter which one you choose, be careful about how much empty space you end up with.
  3. Designs are meant to be pretty and colorful, but also READABLE!  Be careful what fonts and colors you choose for your text.
