Process

 

 1. Your teacher will  give you a Heritage packet to complete, and have you create a PowerPoint Presentation that identifies your personal heritage including traditions and customs that have been passed down to you from your family. 

                       (see below for Power Point Presentation instructions)


2.  Any information/photos you would like to save about your heritage, should be saved in your personal folder in your common folder.  Make sure to get permission for any pictures you wish to use.  Bring copies of photos that you need to be scanned.


3.    If you don't already have a copy of the heritage packet, please get one from your teacher.


4. Start researching the information needed to complete the packet. 


5.    You may use a variety of resources to help you find the information needed to complete the state report worksheet packet. Some of the information you may want to use include searching the Internet, oral interviews, letters, and books.

When your presentation is complete, show your presentation to two other students for editing.  After you have finished making any corrections or changes to your presentation, save your presentation in your common folder, and tell your teacher you are ready to share your presentation with the class.
