Methodology of Teaching Good Writing

Task:  We all know our students have trouble with the writing process. Each group will be assigned one of the following: prewriting, writing, editing, revising, and publishing.

Your task, if you so choose to accept it, is to teach a 15 minute lesson on a step in the writing process.

The topic is a persuasive essay on uniforms in school.  Your will need to choose a side and present you lesson.

You will be working with you team members (subject department).

You will need to provide the class with examples, appropriate worksheets, a practice activity, and a grading rubric.
