This page was created to teach teachers how to effectively teach a proper writing lesson to students across the writing curriculum. Our goal is to make the teachers feel at ease with the information they gained, as well as how to use the steps of the writing process adequately.

Introduction

Introduction: Many times teachers are good writers themselves, but feel insecure when it comes to teaching the writing process. Have you ever noticed how many students avoid writing? If teachers want their students to enjoy and improve their writing skills then they must find an innovative way to help all types of writers. Educators need to be confident enough to present writing to middle school students. How can educators teach the writing process in a meaningful way to grasp the best attributes our students have to offer? We need to find a solution for all teachers to become successful at teaching the writing curriculum to their students. The upcoming sections will explain ways teachers can develop ideas and gain insights of how to teach the writing process to our students. The activity involves having the students write a persuasive essay on uniforms in schools.
