You will learn a little more about your name just like Chrysanthemum did in the story.

*On the back of the paper write what you like about your name.
*Have one friend write something they like about your name.

Now you will work with a friend to each write a poem with your name. Write your name going down. Think of a word or group of words that tells about you that starts with that letter.

In the story Chrysanthemum gets her feelings hurt because the other kids make fun of her name. Think about how it feels when someone makes fun of you. What would you tell those kids? Write a letter to the kids explaining why they should not make fun of Chrysanthemum.
