By exploring different countries via the web, students will learn about different cultures and communities within our world. In this MapQuest lesson, student will actively participate in their own learning. First, students will map physical and political geography from their chosen country. Second, they will explore demographics of that country. Third, students will compare demographics to help answer the question: Is there a correlation between literacy and life expectancy on the six human inhabited continents?
