Credit for this information are found on the Credit page of the WebQuest!

Clustering
Clustering is a nonlinear activity that
generates ideas, images and feelings around a stimulus word. As
students cluster, their thoughts tumble out, enlarging their word bank
for writing and often enabling them to see patterns in their ideas.
Clustering may be a class or an individual activity.
- You may also want to use a form like this to help you to design and layout your ideas for your story.

Time to Create!
STEP 1:
Using the information you created your graphic organizer with, look over the design for your book. Ask yourself?
- Does my title spark interest?
- Are my characters vivid?
- Do I have an idea of how I want to illustrate my story?
- What figurative language do I appreciate in stories?
- What is my moral?
STEP 2: Create your book
- Create your cover page (include an illustration)
- Create an internal cover page (include author, illustrator, & date)
-
Create your story (keep in mind the answers to the questions above and the requirements of the rubric. You must have a creative title, clear and interesting characters, minimum of 10 pages, illustration on each page that relates to the writing on the page, a clear moral, and good use of figurative language. http://www.frostfriends.org/figurative.html
- Create a work cited page (make sure to include websites you found illustrations on and any author you want to credit for giving you ideas.)
Step 3: Make sure you followed the steps of writing.
