This WebQuest is designed to allow students the opportunity to evaluate children's books, finding what style, figurative language, illustrations, and techniques, they find most effective. They will research these authors and illustrators to help choose a writing style, as well as an illustration style for the children's book they will create.

Why do we love our favorite children's story? What is Figurative Language? What makes these stories so vivid and fun to read? What kind of pictures make these stories so exciting to see as the pages turn?
*Let's create our own stories after we decide what it is that makes a story great in our eyes!
