Conclusion
You did it! The hard work of all students gives us the ability to create our own Backyard Wildlife Habitat at our school. The process has helped us gain a better understanding of the connectedness of all living things. We all need the same basic elements to thrive: food, water, shelter, and a place to raise our young! Together, humans, animals, plants, and other organisms can live together in our environment for the mutual benefit of one another, but it is up to us to be good stewards of our natural resources and of our environment by doing what we can right in our own backyards.
For students who have gardened in the past, this project may give you new ideas to enhance your current garden at home. For students who never gardened before, it is hoped that this project gave you the necessary information to create your own garden someday or help a friend or relative with their garden.
