This social studies WebQuest is designed to teach eight-grade students at the Early Intermediate and Intermediate English levels. The topic of heroism is explored through the study of the famous people in history and how they have made important contributions to the communities. Students will learn about the biographies of the famous people from the past and the present and be able to define the characteristics of a "hero" or "leader."
