     This WebQuest is designed for a Literature or Language Arts class for grades five through eight. Students must have already read the book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carrol and have watched the 1999 adaptation of the book, in order to complete this task.

The Learner Will

Participate in an exploration of Lewis Carroll's, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, after reading the book and watching the 1999 movie adaptation.

Research plot, character, theme, and setting in order to gain a better understanding of the different portions that comprise a story.

Determine why Lewis Carroll chose the illustrator that he did after analyzing different, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, illustrators.

Write a paragraph using facts to connect the author, Lewis Carroll, to his own work.

Design their own version of, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, through illustration and discuss the morals found in book.
