Teacher Process
Before beginning the WebQuest, the teacher should demonstrate and explain what a WebQuest is and how to navigate through the Webquest. The teacher should also have all materials and supplies displayed somewhere in the classroom, where the students can access them.
Before the students begin the WebQuest, the teacher needs to put the students into groups of four or five.
During the WebQuest the teacher should be walking around and monitoring the students progress. The teacher should make sure that all the students are on task and are working cooperatively.
Demonstrate how to make homemde ice cream to the entire class at the same time. Have measuring cups and all supplies ready to create homemade ice cream. This activity can be a great review of measurement, or if the students are unfamiliar with measuring, this activity can be a great introduction.
