Teacher Process
Time Frame:
a. Reading Bunnicula: Up to two weeks, depending on how you structure your reading time
b. Completing Research: Approximately one week. My students worked on researching for about 30 minutes a day for a week.
c. Writing a Report from the Research: 3-4 days
Differentiation:
I have differentiated the task by skill level. You can offer this assignment in two ways.
1.Have the students choose which task they are most interested in.
2. Assign the tasks by skill level: Low Learners - Video Rabbit Task
Average Learners - Vampire Bat Task
High Learners - Transylvania Task
Also, students could work in pairs or in groups. You could assign different jobs to different students or have them work together on each portion.
