Task
Using internet resources, you and a partner will select an NBA team that showed dominance over a 5 year period. An example would be the Chicago Bulls, who won 3 titles from 1990-1995.
Once you have chosen your "dynasty," you will collect and record the following data for each of the 5 years of the "dynasty:"
- whether or not they won the championship that year
- the number of wins the team had during the season
- the average number of wins of each of the playoff teams in the NBA that year
- the average margin of victory in each of the wins for that team
After you have collected and recorded all of the required data, you and your partner, along with the other teams in your class, will enter the data into the comparison spreadsheet and generate bar graphs, comparing all of your dynasties. Based on your graphs, you will make your choice as to what the NBA's greatest dynasty is. You will then create a collage that contains your team's name, dynasty years, graphs and charts, and pictures of players and/or coaches.
