Process
Step 1

With your group of 3, you'll need to decide on a local American Indian Nation (A.I. Nation) to visit for class study trip from the provided list.

Step 2
- Assign Jobs
o Travel Agent (researches Region/Environment)
o Homemaker (researches Clothing and Food)
o Community Builder (researches Buildings & Traditions)

Step 3
- Research your job description using given website links below. Each has their own set of links to do their research from.
Travel Agent
Homemaker
Community Builder
- Ohlone Nation
- Miwok Nation

Step 4
- Take notes on information researched
o Be sure to write it in your own words
- Use the note-taking paper provided
- Use Step 6 as a guideline for information you will need to collect and then cover.

Step 5
- Gather at least 4 images for your scrapbook.
- Each job must collect their own images, for a group minimum of 12.
Step 6
- Create a scrapbook which includes pictures and information on the following areas:
Region/Environment
- Where do they live?
- What is the land like?
- What is the geographical region like?
- What are their natural resources?
Clothing
- What does it look like?
- What are they made out of?
- What do the men, women, and children wear?
- What do they wear for special occasions?
Buildings
- What are their homes like?
- Are their other buildings?
Food
- What do they eat?
- How do they get their food?
Traditions/Roles/Other Information
- Describe any special occassions they may have
- Who has what jobs/roles?
- Any other interesting information you want to share?
