What is a science experiment? A good experiment requires that you design a test to perform on something that you are interested in; to answer a question about science you want to discover. Follow the scientific method in order to construct your experiment:
- Research
- Problem/Question
- Hypothesis
- Project Experimentation
- Project Conclusion
First, you will search the internet with your group to gather ideas for types of questions/problems.
Next, decide on a question/problem in science you want to discover.
Thirdly, you will come up with a hypothesis, an educated guess, about what you think as a group will be the answer to your question.
Next, you will write down the exact steps you plan to take. Conduct the experiment and record your results.
Lastly, you will conclude what happened in your experiment. Was your hypothesis correct or incorrect?
