Process
In your groups, one person will be chosen to be the researcher. He/she will browse the internet on the following sites. Other group members may participate by watching. You must decide by vote which problem/question you are going to choose.
*Remember that the teacher only has certain materials so keep in mind that some experiments you will not be able to perform in class.
*Make sure your idea is OK with the teacher.

- As a group, decide what you think will be the hypothesis. If conflicts occur, take a vote.
- In order to conduct the experiment, you must know the steps to take before you begin. Talk within your groups about your plan on how to conduct the experiment. Designate one person to write down the procedure. Perform the experiment. Realize that things may not go according to your plans so stay calm and ask questions if you need help. If any differences occur from your original plan, be sure to make the changes on the written procedure.
- Record your results. You may need to make graphs using spreadsheets.
- Draw conclusions from what happened in your experiment.
The designated writer/typist needs to type up the experiment using microsoft word. This will be the layout of your typed experiment:

*Do not worry if your hypothesis is incorrect. This is why we conduct experiments--to discover questions in science!
