Process
1. You will be assigned a partner. Each team will research a cell type and one of its' organelles. One person will be responsible for drawing the cell and the other person will be responsible for drawing the organelle.
2. In order to become an expert on your cell and organelle, you must investigate several Web sites and resources.

6. Now that you have all your information, You need to decide how you will draw your picture for the book. One of you will draw and label your cell and one of you will draw and label your organelle on the paper provided. Make it clear and colorful. Give each other helpful, kind advice. Feature your organelle both inside the cell and blown up bigger with details.
7. Create a caption or write a sentence that clearly and simply explains its name and why it is important to the cell. Write a rough draft and have the teacher check it. You will be judged on your individual drawing, your description, and on both pages as a team.
8. Once everyone has completed their pages,we will assemble the book and have it spiral bound for the 4th graders.
