Task
You will need to research Robert Hooke, determine why he believed the cell was empty.
Once this is complete, you and your team will need to determine the tools required to discover the truth about cells.
In addition, your team will research each major part of the cell to create a complete living cell. You will be required to observe both plant and animal cells through a microscope as well as label cell parts on a cell diagram.
Next, you will discuss with your team members the different parts of the cell which can be identified through the microscope and record your finding, make sure to include these in a presentation for the scientific community.
Finally, you and your team will be required to compile your information in a PowerPoint presentation.
There is a candy bar or extra credit (whichever you need more) available to the teams which find the little known facts weaved throughout the websites you will visit on this quest, and place them in your presentation.
