Step 3

 

Using the knowledge you have learned from the links you have explored you and your teammate will write a business plan to be presented in a Power Point that includes the following information.

 

 

1. Overview.

What kind of business or service have you decided on? What did you name it? Why? What kind of product or service will you offer?

 

2. Vision.

Describe the company. Who is your market? Where will you locate? Why did you choose this?

 

3. Market.

Who will be your customers? How will you find them? Will you advertise or use another method?

 

4. Competition.

Who is your competition?  What can you offer that will make customers choose you? How does your competition do business? Can you do something better?

 

5. Strategy.

What are your strengths and abilities? What kind of organizational procedures will you need to accomplish? Do you have a plan to accomplish these?

 

6. Management.

Will you need to hire employees?  How will you do this? Where will you locate your business? How will you arrange this?

 

7. Financial.

What will your start up costs be?  How will you get the money?  What are your expected operating costs?  What will your charge for your product or service? What do you expect to profit?
