To discover what life was like in ancient Pompeii before the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.
Introduction
You are to explore what life was like for a typical Roman town in the first century AD. Our best evidence for this task is the ancient town of Popmeii. Pompeii was buried nearly two thousand years ago by ash from the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. Because the town was buried so quickly, it became frozen in time. Today, we can see what the town was like. Enjoy your exploration!
