Discovering what different instruments look like and how they sound through the use of websites, games and worksheets, this webquest is especially geared to the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade beginning band levels.
Teacher Introduction
Did you ever try to start a beginning band program only to discover the students didn't have a clue about what the instruments look like or sound like? You could bring all of the instruments to each class and play them for the students; or you could let the students experiment and experience on their own by following this webquest. And through all this fun, maybe they will discover a love for music which will last a lifetime.
