This WebQuest is designed to inspire children to explore the lives of musical composers. Students will work in groups to research a specific composer and create a live interview in order to present the information to the rest of the class.

Teacher Introduction

Teachers often have so much pressure on them to meet the guidelines in math and language arts that they often do not have time to think about other subject areas.  This webquest will help teachers to do just that.  Students will be engaged in learning about the history of music, while also covering many areas of the language arts curriculum.  Additionally, students will be learning about technology and how to work with their peers in this small group assignment.  In the end, teachers will be pleased at all of the learning that takes place through this webquest in only a week.
