Task
Together, as part of the design team to make the burglar alarm for the Crown Jewels you will discover:
- Where the Crown Jewels are currently kept in the Tower of London
- What the Crown Jewels are
- How a burglar alarm works
Once you have researched these areas, working as a team, you will begin to make simple circuits using batteries, connecting wires with crocodile clips, light bulbs, buzzers and switches.
By recapping on your knowledge of materials that conduct electricity you will then begin to design and test out ideas for the burglar alarm.
