Conclusion
To conclude the fossil unit, our class will gather materials (ie. rocks, twigs, leafs, miniature model dinosaurs), burry them in sand, and cover them with Plaster of Paris to make a fossil. Then we will use our newly acquired vocabulary words and knowledge about fossils to excavate, analyze, and write about our fossil. We will display our work in a classroom exhibit for Open House.
