This WebQuest is designed to give elementary students an opportunity to explore different landforms. My goal is for the students to learn how landforms affect people, plants and animals.

Teacher Introduction

  Hello Fellow Teachers!

   This WebQuest is designed to give students an opportunity to explore landforms.  This WebQuest was designed to meet first grade standards however we will be completing the WebQuest with the assistance of our third grade buddies (due to the reading level of the text).  Our third grade buddy teacher plans to use the WebQuest to review landforms in order to meet a third grade social studies learning target:  identifying specific landforms and waterways on a map and on a globe.  Following the completion of the WebQuest, the students will be creating a poster displaying the information learned from the WebQuest.  My goal is for the students to answer my essential question:  How do landforms affect the people, plants, and animals in a particular region?
